Pallet systems shock absorbers are used to stop the pallets when they reach the desired end position. This position is normally detected by a proximity switch. However when some pallets with lower masses are decelerated they don‘t reach the end position and as a result the proximity switch detects a fault and the system stops.

Based on the Mega-Line series of shock absorbers Weforma have developed a self-compensating shock absorber with an innovative internal valve construction. At the rest position the valve is open for lower mass impacts. If the weight increases the valve will close offering the best deceleration upon impact. Once the pallet has been decelerated, the valve re opens and the pallet is allowed to the end position.
